In lieu of the SMAW training which will start August 08, 2022, at SIMAG TVETC. As part of training orientation TESDA conducted the Training Induction Program (TIP) under “Tulong Trabaho Scholarship Program” (TTSP)attended by 25 trainees of SMAW NC I, this was followed by Drug Awareness Campaign, R.A.9262 The Violence Against Women & Children (VAWC), Community Anti-Terrorism Awareness, and Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC) and Poverty Reduction and Livelihood Empowerment (PRLE) facilitated by Police Officers of Silay City & E. B. Magalona. With these, participants were able to understand the TTSP which is very important in this scholarship program, also learnings and awareness of the different DRUG Symposium seminar was appreciated by the participants.

Professionalizing Sugarcane Farming through Skills Training & Development
SIMAG Foundation Inc., the Silay Volunteer Health Workers Org., the SIMAG Technical Vocational Education and Skills Training in partnership with the Rural Health Unit of E.B. Magalona with the support from Hon. Marvin M. Malacon and the Philippine National Red Cross conducts Bloodletting activity on August 24, 2018 at SIMAG Training Center.
Many of us simply sat around our basketball courts, hoping and waiting for a college education we could not afford. For a job we could not get. For a better future for ourselves, and our families that we always dreamed about. Until we realized, it would never come if we sat there alone.
At one point it was anticipated that the membership of this organization may reduce in the coming years, but instead, it increases to 1,002 from 982 last 2016. This is because of the SIMAG Welding Training Center in which hundreds of out-of-school youth are waiting for the scholarship. Unfortunately, only 71 were able to trained this year.
The Silay City LCPC together with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) conducted the monitoring of the functionality of the BCPC in 16 barangays last November 2017. They used Evaluation Tools included in the Manual of Operations, and the following were declared winners: First – Barangay Rizal, Second – Barangay 1, and the Third – Barangay Capitan Ramon.
