After amendments of its Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws, SIMAG FOUNDATION, INC. is now also operating under the name and style of SIMAG Technical Vocational Education and Skills Training Center.
SIMAG is not only a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) but also a Technical Vocational Institution (TVI) in response to the challenges faced by our out-of-school youth who wanted to find a decent work locally and abroad. Shielded Metal Arc Welding Training for National Certificate (NC) I and II are now accredited with TESDA and hope to register more qualification programs for the incoming years.
For this year 2017, 71 trainees of SMAW NC I graduated and all passed the assessment.
